First of many to come

I have been reading the book of mormon lately trying to finish it from cover to cover for the first time in my life. I never realized what an influence reading it daily could have for me but it has helped in little ways here and there. Andrew lately has all of a sudden become really good and content when we go out to run errands. For example, we had to go get xrays done on his hand and in the past he has just screamed and made it difficult for us to get the xray. This time he just sat there quietly and held his hand still as the technician put his hand in different angles and took different xrays of his thumbs. It is a amazing to see the little things that tend to go better just as a result of reading my scriptures daily.

I have been really down about my weight and I really do want to get thinner. I was looking at a picture we took as a team in Spokane for volleyball and I just feel like I am a blimp. I want to cry and be totally upset (of which I can be inside at times) but I have found that I just need to get over it and use my frustration towards exercising. I do have the hardest time not eating throughout the day. With havng to be responsible for Andrew's food, I am always tempted to eat little things here and there but I know they will add up. I try to keep telling myself that it has only been 11 weeks since I had Beck but I also feel like it is impossible to get this weight off. But I will do it and it will take time but I really hope and pray that it is sooner than later.

I watched Juno today and cried at the part where she delivers the baby. How hard would it have been to give up a precious being like that. However I totally agree with her decision in that she is only 16 and still in high school. I think it is the best way to handle things if that problem were to arise. I would like to say however that I pray that never happens to any of my future daughters or sons for that matter. I really enjoyed that movie and want Peter to see it also.

Thursday we head to my parents to drive down with them to Sacramento. Grandma Esther passed away Saturday and we are going to her funeral. I would like to say that I am sad she is gone but I am glad because she has been declining in health for the last couple years and she was 97 and just really needed to go. She is now with my Grandpa and hopefully happy. It will be nice to see everyone that can come(which is pretty much everyone but Mike Brooke and Family and Treven). It will be fun to have a majority of the family together for the short time.

Well I must cut this short as I need to get my 1st workout in while Andrew is down for a nap.
